Color Crayon Match Up File Folder Game {PreK & Kindergarten}

Thanks for your interest in my Color Crayon Match Up File Folder Game

Print the game mats (and game pieces), laminate, add them to a file folder, and play! Students will use the game pieces to play the game by matching one color crayon per crayon on the game mat.

Tips: You can extend the activity by using the black and white pages (on plain copy paper) as game mats and have students color the crayons after making matches. It would also make a fun "write the room" activity, using black and white copies as recording sheets, and having students color in the crayons and/or write color names as they find game pieces throughout the room! So many possibilities!

If game pieces are ending up everywhere but the file folder game mat, try placing the game on a large tray or cookie sheet instead. That usually does the trick for students unable to figure out space boundaries on their own.

I hope your students love matching games as much as mine do!
