Spring Write The Room Packet

As I prepare for spring term at the university, it is an excellent time to review my spring lesson plans for my preschool class.  Of course, it is time to introduce my Spring Write The Room Packet. (My little writers are going to looooooove the spring word wall list!)

To view this packet up close or purchase, click the image.

With at least 8 activities to choose from, this packet includes:

- 19 color and 19 b&w word wall cards
- Table top word charts (can be used in acrylic sign holders)
- Multiple word recording sheets
- Roll it, Read it, Color it
- Word hunt and count
- Picture / word dictation
- Beginning letter match up
- Syllable count and match
- Syllable count and graph
- Spin and spell (with additional color spinners)

Print, cut, laminate, and hang the following word wall cards around your classroom . (A budget friendly black and white version has been provided to help save ink.) You can post the cards in your writing area, a pocket chart, or hang them around the room (walls, doors, cubbies, backs of shelves, etc.). Students can use them to spell/read each word by pointing with their finger or with a pointer. They can record/write the words on the recording sheets provided in this packet.

My students take great pride in writing and reading key words of the season. I hope your students looooove these activities as much as mine do.

Bright Blessings,
Heather Cacak
